Angel’s story is one of courage, strength, and the power of human connection in the face of adversity. Angel’s life took an unexpected turn when she was widowed at the young age of 29, following the tragic and sudden death of her first husband in a car accident in December 2020.

Left to care for her 1 and 3-year-old daughters, she found herself grappling with immense grief and a sense of isolation. In her quest for solace and understanding, she sought out others who had experienced similar loss and realized the profound need for a community specifically tailored to young widows. This realization led her to establish the Extremely Young & Widowed Group in 2021, which has since grown to encompass a supportive network of 9000 members. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science Engineer from The Ohio State University and works full-time as an Architect Software Systems Engineer.
